My journey began with a degree in International Hospitality Management, majoring in Culinary Arts. In 2015, I opened a cupcake business, offering fresh, organic, and even gluten-free and vegan options.

Despite my love for baking and cooking, I realized that my true passion lies in technology. Transitioning from the kitchen to the tech industry, I started my career in sales at a startup in San Francisco. This experience ignited my desire to become a software engineer.

My goal is to develop more applications that aren't just user-friendly but also make a positive impact. My background in hospitality has equipped me with valuable soft skills that I apply in my journey towards software engineering. Customer service taught me to understand user needs, which I now leverage in gathering requirements for software projects.

Eager to pursue my dream, I embarked on a 420-hour programming course specializing in Software Engineering. Recognizing the importance of a solid foundation, I am currently enhancing my knowledge with an additional course in Computer Science.
